Children's Worship Bulletins provides bulletins for both preschoolers and early elementary learners. Our dedicated professional designers develop our bulletins for children ages 3-12 in two age groups — 3-6 and 7-12. Use our bulletins for all your Sunday school classes!

Children's church bulletins teach foundational Scripture

Have you been able to find children's church bulletins with any substance? Children's Worship Bulletins develops bulletins that educate and engage.

Our writers include difficult concepts, like the resurrection, in our bulletins. The messages are basic but not overly simple, positive and non-denominational. The teaching is clear and true to the Scriptures.

Use Children's church bulletins to form the basis of an entire lesson plan

Have you been able to find children's church bulletins with which you can build an entire lesson plan?

Because our bulletins cover significant verses and major biblical topics from all four Gospels, the Old Testament and the Epistles, your educational staff can build an entire program from them. Simply search by lectionary, topic or Scripture verse to find bulletins for your specific needs.

In this short article, we'll show you how to take two of our children's church bulletins about resurrection to create activities that fit in with a larger lesson plan.

Children's church bulletin about resurrection for ages 3-6: Paul preached about Jesus

Children's church bulletin about resurrection for ages 3-6

Activity Preparation:

  • Print a bulletin for each child
  • Print a handout onto cardstock for each child
  • Gather enough crayons or colored pencils and scissors for everyone
  • Cut a 6" length of yarn or string for each child
  • Have a paper punch available

Activity Directions:

  1. Give each child a bulletin and crayons or colored pencils.
  2. Explain the activity, "Today, we're going to learn about what Paul told the Corinthians were the three most important things we, as Christians, believe about Jesus. While I read our Scripture lesson, complete the puzzle 'Paul preached about Jesus.' But listen carefully so that afterward, you can answer my question about the three most important things we believe."
  3. Read aloud 1 Corinthians 15:1-11.
  4. After the children have completed their puzzle, ask them what Paul said were the three most important things to believe about Jesus. Accept answers such as, "Jesus died for us," "Jesus was buried" and "Jesus appeared to his disciples and many other people after being dead for three days."
  5. Give each child a handout, a pair of scissors and a length of string and review the three central beliefs Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 15:1-11. Have the children color and cut out the cross, tombstone and "3" symbols.
  6. As each child finishes coloring and cutting out the symbols, punch a hole in each, as indicated and help each child string his or her symbols onto the length of string.
  7. After everyone has finished, explain that the children can look for other symbols that remind us that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose on the third day.

Children's church bulletin about resurrection for ages 7-12:

Many people witnessed … Paul thought his message … The things that happened … Paul had been cruel …

Children's church bulletin about resurrection for ages 7-12

Activity Preparation:

  • Print a bulletin for each child
  • Gather enough pencils for everyone
  • Have a small prize for four winners

Activity Directions:

  1. Start the class by explaining the Scripture reading, "Today, we're going to learn what Paul thinks are the three most important foundations of our faith. First, let's read today's lesson."
  2. Read aloud or have the children read aloud 1 Corinthians 15:1-11.
  3. After reading the story, ask the class to identify the three most important foundations of our faith. Accept answers such as, "Jesus died for us," "Jesus was buried" and "Jesus appeared to his disciples and many other people after being dead for three days."
  4. Explain the activity, "We're going to play a little game. For each panel in our bulletin, we'll have a race to see who can complete it first and be able to tell the class how it fits in with Paul's list of the three most important foundations of our faith. After the winner's explanation, the entire class will be able to vote on the winner's answer. The winner will need a majority to vote that your explanation makes sense to win a prize. We'll complete each panel separately so that at least four people have a chance to win. I'm trusting that you'll work on only one panel at a time. Now, I'll pass out a bulletin and pencil. Please wait until I yell, 'Go!' to start working on the puzzle. We'll complete 'Many people witnessed …' first."
  5. Give each child a bulletin and pencil.
  6. Yell, "Go!" and wait for the first child to finish. Ask him or her to explain how the answer, "Paul wrote 'This message is most important! Jesus died and rose from the dead on the third day…" fits in with Paul's list of the three most important foundations of our faith. Accept answers such as "This answer is Paul's list of the three most important foundations of our faith."
  7. Allow the class to vote on the winner's answer. If a majority rules that the winner's answer meets the requirements, award him or her a prize. If not, have the class discuss why the winner's answer does not meet the requirements.
  8. Have the children solve the puzzle, "Paul thought his message …" Have the winner explain how his or her answer fits in with Paul's list of the three most important foundations of our faith. Allow the class to vote on the winner's explanation. Award the winner a prize if the majority rules that his or her explanation meets the requirements.
  9. Continue until all four puzzles have been solved, awarding prizes as necessary.
